  • Institut français du Luxembourg’s new programme of French courses, Luxembourg ville

  • Luxembourg Creative Workshop – Saturday, 12 /01/2019 from 13:00 until 16:00Park Inn Hotel by Radisson, Luxembourg ville

An afternoon workshop of creativity with the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI). Do you love children’s literature? Do you love to write or illustrate? Melanie Rook Welfing, Regional Advisor for SCBWI Benelux  https://benelux.scbwi.org/ will lead an afternoon devoted to children’s literature. She will give an introduction to SCBWI and what it can offer writers and illustrators for children. She will also share her own experience as a writer and talk about writing for the children’s magazine market in the US. Then, after a short break, Melanie will lead a hands-on workshop on Friendship in Children’s Literature. Participants will explore some of the great friendships in children’s literature and come up with some new ones of their own! This workshop is for writers and illustrators. Bring along your sketchbook, notebook, pens and pencils — whatever you need to create. This event is organised with Lux Writers Who Talk https://www.facebook.com/groups/345612909170599/, a networking organisation for writers and illustrators in Luxembourg.
