For the first time in the history of our European Schools, all S1 to S3 students attending catholic courses are invited to participate to the “Mass for the Octave” on 03/05/2024 in Luxembourg Cathedral.
Volunteers are requested to accompany the children. More information will be communicated to concerned parents by their child’s religion teacher.

After successfully making the opening at the FEST 2024 festival, our Periscolaire English Drama group (S4-S6) is back at Lux2 for 2 evening performances on Thursday 11 and Friday 12/04/24 of “The Audition”, a comedy by Don Zolidis + “A Human Write”, a drama by Amy Sutton.

On Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 February, our School hosted this very important event for the secondary cycle, inviting S5 and S6 to take part in a simulated United Nations conference. The event was chaired by Her Excellency Jean Mac Donald, the Irish Ambassador to Luxembourg and approximately 150 students participated in this great event. For the ones who missed this opportunity, we are glad to inform you that our School will host a similar event in 2024/2025, but this time with participants from all European Schools.

As you may remember, InterParents invited all parents of the European Schools to an online meeting with the Central Office of the European Schools (OSG) on Monday 05/02/2024 to get information on the new call for tenders for school trips. Last January, all 14+ students with a passion for English (L2 & L3 only) were invited to register to the first launch of the International English Language Olympiad (IELO). This was a unique opportunity for our students eager to let their English shine to represent our School on the international stage in Romania.
In March 2022, Matteo Naudi represented our School at Eurosport in ES Mol (Belgium). Currently in S7, he has been selected to join our team this year again. We would like to thank Matteo very much for his testimony and like him, we encourage our Lux2 community to support this incredible event !
A BIG THANK YOU to the 200 families who have registered with us to host 1, 2 and sometimes 3 or 4 students participating to Eurosport next month! But we are still missing about 10 beds !

At the end of each school year, we encourage our S7 students to fill in a questionnaire on their higher education choices. Collecting this information is always very challenging for us, but thanks to the help of the Bac Committee, we have achieved a response rate of over 35% from our 2023 Baccalaureate holders. We are delighted to share the results with all our School community. For students wishing to study in France, don’t miss out our enclosed information on Parcoursup results.

This year, all our S5 and S6 students are encouraged to join the “Citizenship Actions for all Programme” and volunteer their time to support a local organization. Parents who are already engaged in an association/organization in Luxembourg can also support the program and/or encourage their children in S5/S6 to join by contacting the School S6 Advisor in charge of this project.

Mr Ghidini’s speaker event, “Lasciami Volare” was an emotional speech about loss, hope and resilience which had a huge impact on our parents and children alike … Gianpietro Ghidini shared his story, how he approached the loss of his son Emanuele, and the role that drugs played in this context. Parents from both Lux1 and Lux2 were invited to join an evening session, while their children in Secondary had the opportunity to listen to Gianpietro during the day.
