Around 50 parents attended the “Bee Secure conference for parents” organized by APEEEL2, in collaboration with the School Secondary advisors on Thursday 20 April 2023. The audience appreciated the warnings given on cookies, weak passwords, fake news, as well as issues relating to AI generated photos or videos… All documentation including guidelines and the evening’s presentation are enclosed.

Since last September, all students enrolled in Merite Jeunesse have attended theoretical weekly sessions to prepare for weekend practice expeditions scheduled last month and this month. Students are now looking forward to organizing their assessed expeditions. During our last Careers Day event, we were reminded by many Lux2 former students how much universities appreciate this experience when selecting their applicants. All parents have received today by SMS an INVITATION to the S7 Baccalaureate music group concert, originally planned last November and rescheduled this month. The event will take place in the Studio of the Administration building, starting at 19:30. Refreshments will be provided during the interval by Actions Sans Frontières. National inspectors for our DE, EL and IT linguistic sections have recently visited our School and meetings were organized with the parents’ class representatives, with the participation of our APEEEL2 representatives. Meetings with national inspectors can be an enriching experience and remain an excellent opportunity for parents to discuss educational programs and issues specific to their language section.  These meetings are reserved for parents’ class representatives who have registered with our association and are therefore on our Class Reps distribution list, renewed each school year.

The Mobility Program can be a really enriching experience for students, allowing them the opportunity to spend a semester (from September to December) in another European School when they are in S5. Naturally, such a program can only be organized within a specific framework, and with important administrative constraints. Interested students must apply while still in S4 at the latest by 15/12/22.
