On 12 & 18/05, the Office of the Secretary General of the European Schools organized its first ever “Inset Training” for all Educational Support Coordinators of all EU Schools, including accredited European Schools. The goal was to raise awareness of the different assistive technology tools which will most probably become available to disabled students, and will lead to the full update of the Provision of the Educational Support Policy. We should be proud to be so many to come to school by bike, so let’s ALL get moving and register to the 14th edition of this yearly competition organized by the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works. And let’s make our School win again the Luxembourg trophy! Students coming by bike only have to form a team of 2 to 4 students (it can be with siblings) and register online. Supported by APEEEL2 Management Committee, the open letter requested a review of various issues affecting SWALS pupils (pupils without a language section) in order to improve the situation. Although we have received feedback on a few reported issues in the enclosed response letter from OSGES , many of our open questions remain unanswered. Your APEEEL2 representatives attended this annual meeting gathering Lux1 & Lux2 Directors, APEEEL1 & APEEEL2 (parents’ associations), as well as representatives from the School’s teachers, the European Commission and the Ministry of Education. Topics discussed included the welcome of  Ukrainian refugees in our Schools, the cohabitation between Lux1 & Lux2 with Luxembourg accredited schools, teachers’ retention, European Baccaulaureate recognition in Luxembourg and providing equality between Lux1 & Lux2 and Luxembourg accredited schools. read more…

From September 2022, UGDA music lessons (solfège) and Eveil Musical will continue to be offered as Periscolaire group activities, but free of charge to our pupils, on condition that registrations are made in PAMS between 13/05/22 and 01/06/22 and that we have received the duly completed Registration Form by 01/06. Phase 1 of the MDDI roadwork project to improve bus access to our School started during the Easter holidays. The estimated work planning has been designed to minimize the impact on the traffic during school time and peak hours, with the constraint that all work should be completed by next school start in September. In the end, eventhough this project will reduce the number of parking spaces available for parents, we expect some significant improvement for pupils and school staff coming to School by bus. read more…
