    • Primary pupils are only supervised in groups from the primary playground to their bus platform upon departure at the end of class.

By Bike or by Foot

Updated 02/09/2022

Access for cyclists has been and will continue to be improved, as roadworks are still ongoing. Please take additional care and be vigilant during this time.

School access for cyclists & pedestrians – 09/22

The school is accessible from the National Bike Path PC 13 « Nicolas Frantz » and from municipal bike paths within the communes of Bertrange and Mamer.

There are five bicycle parking areas on our campus, easily accessed from the bike paths.

By Train

The closest train station to our school is Mamer-Lycée, located approximately 200 metres from one of the entry to the Secondary building.

All information for getting to and from school using the train can be found online on the CFL website. For security reasons, the school does not recommend that children under the age of 12 travel on the train without an adult or other authorized person.

By Car

Updated 02/09/2022

This year we expect some significant changes for those coming by private cars, as well as for those coming by bus. We therefore kindly ask you to read the following information carefully to ensure a smooth a safe start for our children.

To separate the access for the School buses from the traffic to the parking lot, the access for parents bringing their children has been changed.

  • Access for parents parking (Nursery, Primary or Secondary) is now directly from the roundabout.
    • Please take the 2nd exit in the roundabout if you are coming from Mamer
    • Otherwise, take the 3rd exit in the roundabout if you are coming from Luxembourg city using the “blue bridge”.
  • The former access is now exclusively reserved for buses, authorized staff and suppliers only. Please note that parents parking is no longer accessible from this road, as parents bringing or picking up their children are no longer allowed to use this access.
  • Due to some delays, roadworks will continue during the coming weeks with additional bus lanes to ensure a faster arrival and timely departure of the school buses. We expect additional congestions, and it is therefore recommended to use other means of transport whenever feasible. During the week of 05/09, and in the coming weeks, please favor soft mobility and public transportation to come to School.
  • Parking allocation for parents and staff has been revised. For more information, please see the School communication sent to all parents via SMS on 02/09.
School access for parents’ cars  – 09/22

Due to heavy traffic congestion and parking restrictions, as well as with regards to its environmental impact, we never not recommend this means of transportation to school.
Driving regulations are in force on all access roads to the school. Please remember to drive slowly and carefully around all of the school buildings.
Always be aware of children moving through the school grounds. As children may not always be attentive to road regulations on campus, please make sure to drive with extra care.
The speed limit is 30km/hour. Buses, bicycles, and pedestrians, particularly children, always have the right of way.
