Thanks to everyone who enrolled last year, now it’s time to sign up for the 12th edition !
“Mam velo op d’schaff oder an d’schoul” MVOS is a competition to promote cycling in Luxembourg. It is not only aiming at companies and institutions, but also Primary & Secondary students, their parents and all School staff !
Our school was chosen as a pilot school in 2016 and won the First Prize (trophée Golden Gear) in 2016, 2017 and 2018 !
So, please let us all motivate all those children and parents who are already cycling to school, and those who could come by bicycle to get involved in this initiative by enrolling online at: http://www.mvos.lu/
Teams consisting of from 2 to 4 pupils will need to be formed. Pupils will need to commit to coming to school by bicycle at least 15 times between 15 May and 31 July 2019.
By registering to this competition, your participation will automatically be entered in the draw to win one of the many prizes provided by the generous sponsors of this project. The school with the most cycling students will be awarded a trophy.
More and more students from Lux II already cycle to school, so this competition provides our students with a wonderful opportunity to be involved in an initiative which works in the direction of sustainability for our planet!
As you may also know , ways to improve the transport and access infrastructure of our School is one of the important areas which APEEEL2 is working on right now. In this context , we intend to fully support this initiative.
